President Dr.Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete who is on a State visit to India at the invitation of the government of India June 19,2015 with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi witnessed the signing ceremony of Seven Memoranda of Understanding(M o U) shortly after the official welcoming ceremony held at the Presidential palace in New Delhi India. 1The Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Dr.  Mahadhi Juma Maalim exchange documents with his counterparts India’s Secretary in The Ministry of Defence Shri Mohan Kumar on Memorandum of Understanding in the Field of Hydrography between India and Tanzania 

2The permanent Secretary in The Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism Dr.Adelhelm  Meru  exchange documents with India’s Administrative Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism  after signing an MOU on cooperation in the field of Tourism. 

3The Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance Ms.Dorothy Mwanyika exchanges documents with the chairman of the EXIM Bank Mr. Yaduvendra Mathur after signing a loan agreement between Exim Bank and Government of Tanzania for US$268.35 million for extension of Lake Victoria pipeline project.  

4The Head of East Africa Statistical Training Center(EASTC) Professor Innocent Ngalinda exchange documents with his Indian counterpart Mr.T.V Raman after signing an MOU between his institute and the India’s National Statistical System Training Academy(NSSTA) on establishing a collaborative program in official statistics.  

5During the same occasion India’s Chief Hydrographer Vice admiral SK Jha handed over Navigational charts for the ports of Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam, harbor to Defense Advisor in the Tanzania High Commission to India Major General Issa Nassor, for which survey was conducted by Indian Navy
